What are some things to consider when going into tech sales vs consulting?[IT, other]

23 yr old, i am currently at a SaaS B2B as a marketing intern but im looking more into sales. My company does not offer a rotational program however after my 3 months here I can decide to either go into tech sales or consulting but dont have much knowledge in either. What are some things I should consider?
