Theme for your next SaaS? Light or Dark[IT, other]

What I've observed is that most of the SaaS I see made here are Light themed websites.I personally like dark theme and I use it everywhere, and was building a project in dark theme. But thought would ask you guys, are there reasons to avoid dark theme?What do you personally do?

Trying to find a good website designer (+ wordpress developer) for my SaaS product. I've searched upwork (mostly indie designers), fiverr (horrible) and behance/ddribble (lots of agencies, high $$$).
