Thoughts on Dreamforce?[IT, other]
Posted 1 year ago
I saw numbers of 40-50K attendees, but it seemed pretty busy to me.
As far as boothes go - I didn't notice one from IBM or Accenture - maybe TCS too - which was quite surprising.
Also lots of the smaller booths were taken over by Salesforce vs in previous years they were SIs, Product Companies etc.
Not positive ...
Does it ever get fun?[IT, other]
Posted 1 year ago
I'm a Salesforce developer and recently I got a bit burned out (or more bored out actually). I like technical things but I get very few technical user stories. On top of that, I'm working on a 10+ years code base touched by a wife range of skilled people. And don't let me started on the fact that in Salesforce you ...

What does your Salesforce DevOps Nirvana look like?[IT, other]
Posted 1 year ago
Hey everyone, the CTO where I work has asked what the best possible version of Salesforce DevOps looks like.

Given free reign what are some cool things ...
The Omnistudio UI is atrocious[IT, other]
Posted 1 year ago
I am learning Omnistudio for fun. And to be honest, I think I might have an easier time learning LWCs outright than trying to navigate this UI.
Between Dataraptors, Integration Procedures, Flexcards and Omniscripts and trying to learn how they connect and pass data... It's awful and unintuitive.
The early days of flow were God awful. It took a long ...
Question about selling Salesforce services[IT, other]
Posted 1 year ago
I've been working in Salesforce for roughly a year. I previously worked for a small business that doesn't have CRM software. They want me to set up Salesforce for them. Since I don't work for this company any more, and they will be paying me a fee, what is the best way to handle this? Should I purchase the licenses ...
How do I move on from Technical Support[IT, other]
Posted 1 year ago
I am a Technical Support Specialist in a big MDM company. This is my first job in IT and I been doing it for about a year n half.
The past 6 months I've become burnt out and jaded in my position. My work focuses on post-sales technical support break/fix so I deal with things like Salesforce for tickets, CMS, ...
